Family Counseling
When families present for psychotherapy, it is important to understand the dynamics and manifestations of symptoms or problematic behaviors. As mentioned in a previous section, a person's behaviors, decisions, and symptoms do not occur in a vacuum: rather, they occur within a context or system. The family is considered that exact system.
